This week, TTC has moved to Chicago to spend the Holidays, and taking advantage of this beautiful windy city which is ready for shopping and Christmas, we thought you can't miss it at all!

Esta semana nos hemos hecho un viajecito a Chicago, coincidiendo con el puente, y aprovechando que esta ciudad tan bonita está ya preparada para la Navidad y las compras, hemos decidido que no os la podiáis perder!
After Thanksgiving, Black Friday is the most awaited day of the year! Hundreds of people go out for shopping looking for that beloved cloth maybe at 50% off, with all the savings ready for being spent, or queuing at Apple Store to save taxes in the newest Ipad. And there I was, doing my Christmas shoppings, the truth is having advance sales is blissful!

Después del día de Acción de Gracias, el Viernes Negro, como lo llaman los americanos es el día más esperado del año! Cientos de personas salen a la calle en busca de aquella prenda que les gustó y que puede estar a mitad de precio, con sus ahorros preparados para hacerse con el doble de ropa o hacen cola en la tienda de Apple para ahorrarse los impuestos en un Ipad de última generación. Y ahí estaba yo, haciendo mis encargos navideños, la verdad es que esto de tener rebajas anticipadas es una gozada!

The Magnifient Mille is plenty of stores, Haute Couture mixed with low cost firms and fully decorated with Christmas lights. You could find some of the at The Water Tower Place, while others are located along Michigan Ave.
La Milla Magnífica está llena de tiendas, mezclando las de Alta Costura con las marcas básicas, repleto de luces y un ambiente cálido, para mitigar el frio otoño de la ciudad. El Centro Comercial Water Tower reúne unas cuantas, mientras otras se desliegan a lo largo de la Avenida Michigan.

Crate&Barrel store light up like a doll's house, while Cole Haan shows us their last design, the metallic shiny shoes!
La tienda de diseño de instrumentos de cocina Crate&Barrel se ilumina cual casita de muñecas, mientra Cole Haan nos muestra sus últimos diseños, los zapatos metálicos brillantes!
At the end of Michigan Av.a big Christmas tree appears before the bridge, all is ready for the Holidays, even the cars wear customs like Rudolph Deer! At State St. we get The Loop, the most lively part of the city where the Christmas Market is held reminding an European city full of german stalls with hot wine, beer and pretzels.
Al final de la Avenida Michigan podemos disfrutar de un enorme árbol de Navidad, preparado para recibir todos los regalos, hasta los coches están vestidos ya de Rudolf, como si de trineos se tratasen! En la calle State, donde empiezan a numerarse las calles de la ciudad del viento, empieza El Loop, la zona más animada, donde podemos entretenernos en su mercado navideño, al más puro estilo europeo, con vino caliente, cerveza y pretzels.

And after shopping and fashion date, of course we enjoyed visiting the skyscrapers, the Michigan Lake, the Millenium Park or the Navy Pier. Chicago is a beautiful city that worth at least a couple of days! Have fun!

Una vez finalizadas las compras, y nuestra cita con la moda, disfrutamos de la ciudad visitando los rascacielos, el Parque Milenium, el Lago Michigan y el Navy Pier. Chicago es una ciudad preciosa que bien vale al menos un par de días! Disfrutadla!
