BEST DRESSED OF THE WEEK: 3 - 9 May

 Indispensable e indiscutible. Como no podía ser de otra manera, esta semana me planto en la Gran Manzana, en mi adorado Metropolitan (ains... cuantas ganas de volver a estar entre tus paredes...), y concretamente en la ansiada y esperada Gala de los Oscar del estilo, la Gala del Met!

 Este año el tema se centraba en el punk, era necesario acudir al evento con algún atuendo que hiciese honores a este "oscuro" movimiento de mediados de los 70.

Modelos, diseñadores, editores de moda, actores, un "batiburrillo" de gente paseando como loca por la enorme alfombra roja. Y entre tanta cara bonita y vestido más bonito aun, yo me quedo con Ivanka Trump.

 Nada más ver las fotos de la pasarela previa a la Gala, lo supe, ella era mi elegida para este semana.

Guapísima y elegantísima con un modelo de dos piezas, compuesto por blusa cruzada y drapeada, de gasa y manga larga en navy, y falda larga plisada, a modo Fortuny, en el color de la temporada, el verde esmeralda y con el toque más importante del estilismo, la abertura "enseña pata" ;), obra del diseñador colombiano Juan Carlos Obando.

 Indispensable and indisputable. How could it be otherwise, this week I stand in the Big Apple, in my beloved Metropolitan (ains. .. few looking forward to be in your walls ...), specifically on the longed-awaited Met Gala !

 This year's theme focused on the punk, it was necessary to attend the event with an outfit that did honor to this "dark" movement of the mid-70s.

Models, designers, fashion editors, actors, a "hodgepodge" of people walking like crazy for the huge red carpet. And among such pretty face and even prettier dress, I am left with Ivanka Trump.

 Having seen the photos of the catwalk before the Gala, I knew she was my choice for this week.

 Gorgeous and elegant in a model of two parts, consisting of cross bodice and draped, chiffon and navy long sleeve and long skirt pleated Fortuny way, in the color of the season, emerald green and the most important touch the styling, the opening "teach bucket";), created by designer Juan Carlos Obando.

  La estética punk de Ivanka se reflejaba en sus joyas llenas de pinchos y en su look de belleza, con las mechas oscuras que aparecían por su idílica cabellera rubia y sus uñas negras, añadiendo dureza y oscuridad a su dulce carita de niña hiper millonaria...

 En cuanto a los complementos, la joven empresaria optó por unas altísimas sandalias negras de finas tiras, de Manolo Blahnik.

 Ivanka punk aesthetics reflected in her jewelry full of spikes and their beauty look, with dark streaks appearing for its idyllic blonde hair and black nails, adding hardness and darkness to her sweet little girl 'hyper millionaire .. .

 As for accessories, the young entrepreneur chose a towering black sandals thin strips of Manolo Blahnik.

Y como no, la parte americana tambien ha elegido otra propuesta del MET, otro diseño que tampoco os enseñamos en el anterior post, a ver que os parece. Se trata de la modelo Karlie kloss que nos deslumbro con este modelo de Louis Vuitton con escotazo en V, corte imperio y mangas de tul con unas delicadas flores bordadas.

And obviously the new yorker corner has been chosen another MET attendee as the best dressed nominee. It was the top-model Karlie kloss who showed off to the MET-Gala wearing this gorgeous grey embroidered flower tulle gown signed by Louis Vouitton. A big V-neckline, an imperial style cut and the big sleeves gave this design the great personality she deserves. 

Eligio como complementos unas zandalias grises de la casa francesa en plumas grises y un clutch en piel de serpiente a juego.

She opted for a pair of high heels in grey feather from the LV maison too and a snake leather grey clutch matching.

Lapiz de ojos gris resaltando sus bonitos ojos y un pintalabios fuxia fue el maquillaje que acompañaba a su moño semidesecho.

Como joyeria opto por unos diminutos pendientes de brillantes, dando toda la importancia a un preciosa gargantilla de Monique Pean, que aunque era una maravillosa pieza de carey y nacar no creo que pegara mucho con el vestido que eligio, si bien le daba un toque de originalidad, que pensais vosotras??!! Fue la reina del punk por un dia? Pues a votar!!

Grey eyeliner enhancing her eyes and a dark pink lipstick finished her outfit with an undone bun. For the jewelry, she opted for a small brilliant earrings and gave all the importance to a beautiful necklace designed by Monique Pean, although it was a gorgeous piece from nacar and carey I don't think it matches with her dress in this occasion, but it was her choice! What do you think, was she the punk queen? Let's vote!!

It seems that the Best Dressed of the Week is among the MET Gala´s attendants, my nominee also chanelled her punk side, and I think she nailed it, I am talking about the British model Cara Delevingne, who wore a studded long sleeved dress by Burberry.

Parece que la Mejor Vestida de la Semana va a estar entre las invitadas a la gala del Met. Mi nominada también mostró su lado más punk, y creo que acertó de pleno, estoy hablando de la modelo británica Cara Delevingne, con un vestido negro de manga larga con tachuelas de Burberry.

The little of the Delevigne sisters chose this plunging neckline design, perfect for the occasion, with a daring back, punk yet sexy.

La pequeña de las hermanas Delevingne eligió este diseño con escotazo y espalda al aire, perfecto para la ocasión, punk pero sexy.

The entired outfit was perfectly calculated, with a braided side head, smokey eyes, dark manicure, triple necklace and earcuffs.
As a fan of studds, I love the result!

Todo el outfit estaba calculado al detalle, peinado con media cabeza trenzada, ojos ahumados, manicura oscura, tres collares y ear cuffs. Con lo que me gustan a mi las tachuelas,¡Me encanta el resultado!
