LONDON: Celia Birtwell for Uniqlo

I love the capsule collection´s from Uniqlo. They always team with brilliant designers who bring bold patterns and fresh cuts and allow us to have unique pieces in a budget. After Lulu Guinness or orla Kiely (among others) in March the Japanese brand is unveiling a new collection by the British textile designer Celia Birtwell.

Adoro las colecciones cápsula de Uniqlo, siempre se alian con fantásticos diseñadores y nos presentan prendas con estampados originales y buen corte a buen precio. Después de Orla Kiely o Lulu Guinness, entre otros, la marca japonesa presenta en marzo una colaboración con la diseñadora de telas británica Celia Birtwell.

Since the 60s, the iconic designer has been known for her vintage-feel fabrics,always romantic and femenine, stamped in fabrics, wallpaper and clothes.
Not much has been said about the collection, it will consist in several pieces such as t-shirts, jeggings, tunic vests, tote bags, scarves, pyjama pants and culottes, all with her trademark beautiful patterns.
In fact, if the garments are as cute as this jumpsuit I am going to start saving to purchase all the collection. Don´t you find it adorable?

Desde los años sesenta, la icónica diseñadora es conocida por su tejidos de aire vintage, siempre romáticos y femeninos, estampados en telas, papel pintado y en prendas.
No se ha desvelado mucho sobre la colección, para hacerla más esperada, solo que estrá compuesta por camisetas, vestidos, jeggings, bolsos tote, pañuelos, pantalones de pijama y culottes, todas con sus característicos diseños.
Desde luego, si todas las prendas son tan ideales como este mono voy a empezar a ahorrar ya para comprar toda la colección. ¿Qué os parece?
