NYC: Sunday Brunch at SARABETH'S

Too many people have asked us about places in NY to have brunch on weekends. Let's go! There are many many places, some of them with terrace or yards, suitable for the summer, like Le Paradou, others very smart and classy like the one at The Palm Court, in the Plaza Hotel, one of our fave, but without question the one I have repeted again and again, despite the weekend long queues, is Sarabeth's.

Sois muchos los que nos habéis preguntado por sitios para tomar el brunch en NY el fin de semana. Pues bien, hay infinitos, algunos con patio, más adecuados para el verano como Le Paradou, otros muy señoriales como el que sirven en el Palm Court del Hotel Plaza, uno de nuestros favoritos, pero sin duda el que he repetido sin cansarme, a pesar de las largas colas que tiene los fines de semana es Sarabeth's.

They have various restaurants, at the Upper West and East side, at Chelsea or Tribeca, but doubtless my fave is the one at South Central Park, possibly for the nice views over the Park, so if you have the chance of get one off the four tables near the window, since it is pretty huge!

Tiene varios locales, en el Upper West Side, el Upper East Side, Chelsea, Tribecca, pero sin duda, mi favorito es el South Central Park, posiblemente por las vistas que tiene del parque, eso sí, si tienes la suerte de que te toque una de las 4 mesas cerca de la ventana o terraza en verano, porque es enorme!

Mi favorite breakfast are the creamy creps with strawberries, with a mimosa and a capuccino, but you can choose a basket of muffins, lemon and ricotta pancakes, classic egg benedict, and many more...

Mi plato favorito son los crepes con crema y fresas, con una mimosa y un capuccino, pero podéis elegir una cesta de madalenas y panes artesanos, pancackes de limón, huevos benedictinos, entre un montón de platos diferentes...

Our advice is booking a table through opentable, since they don't get reservations by phone during the weekends.
